Best Basket SA is an independent price-comparison service. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of the retailers listed in the app unless we explicitly say so. Retailer names and product names belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify prices and products.

Prices, promotions, loyalty or card prices, stock and availability can change at any time and may differ by store, region, app, delivery or collection channel, and time of day. The price you see in Best Basket SA may not match the price at the shelf, till, or in the retailer's own app.

Always check the retailer's current shelf, till, or app price before you buy. The retailer's price is the one that applies to your purchase.

Basket totals, store comparisons and savings figures are estimates based on the price data available to us at the time. Where a price looks clearly wrong, we may exclude it from comparisons rather than show you a misleading total. If a store doesn't stock every item, we show a partial total and say so — a partial basket is not directly comparable to a complete one.

Delivery fees are not included in totals unless explicitly shown.

Best Basket SA is currently being tested. Pricing accuracy is still being validated, and we do not claim any fixed level of accuracy. You may see missing products, outdated prices, or features that change without notice while we improve the service.

We provide this service "as is" and do not guarantee the accuracy of prices, product availability, or that you will achieve any particular saving. To the extent permitted by South African law (including the Consumer Protection Act), we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on prices or information shown in the app — but nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing takes away any rights you have as a consumer.

You remain responsible for your own purchase decisions, including checking prices, quantities, pack sizes and promotions before paying.

Keep your sign-in details private and use the app lawfully and fairly. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service. You may stop using the app at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and data as described in our Privacy Notice.

We may update these terms as the service develops. When the wording changes materially, the version identifier above changes, and existing users will be asked to review and accept the updated terms — you won't lose access without warning.
